Hello to all you Ladies of Harley and LOH website visitors,
Looking forward to a fun and active 2008. Sheila R. has indeed
passed the gavel to me and I will work hard to uphold the leadership
that she has provided in 2007. I have asked several LOH members to
assist me in making our LOH meetings the best they can be. Dee F.
will keep track of our 50/50 proceeds, Marsha M.. will take meeting
minutes and Rita C. will update our history. The results of the LOH
Member Survey for 2008 has been posted on the LOH Newslist and discussed
at the January meeting (1/8/08). Our members can look forward to more
LOH sponsored rides in 2008. For example, Marsha and I are planning the
Chocolate Run on February 9th. Sheila R. and I will be planning a
Father’s Day Ride. As for other activities, it is my hope that we will
have a skill building training or ride as part each meeting. Another
idea that came up at the LOH Christmas party on Friday, Dec 7th (due to
gifts that were shared) was to hold a Holiday crafts faire in November.
So stay tuned for an exciting 2008. And remember, you are automatically
a member of LOH and can attend LOH meetings if you are a national HOG
member and a current chapter member.
